Hello, I’m Loryn (Liyuan) Sun!

I’m a product designer based in Atlanta, Georgia. My passion for drawing began in middle school, where I saw it as a powerful way to express art. After seven years of design education, that passion grew into a deeper understanding of how design can genuinely improve people’s lives, beyond simply expressing a designer’s ideas.

With experience in environmental design, interactive information design, and human-computer interaction, I approach problems from multiple perspectives. I see the world both as a designer and as a user, always asking questions and paying close attention. I design with empathy and curiosity, thinking critically about how things work and how people actually use them. For me, good design is not just about aesthetics but about creating something that fits naturally into daily life and solves real problems.
